Tata Group will be the first Indian company to manufacture iPhone for the global market. Wistron has been associated with Apple for a long time. And the Indian company is getting this opportunity as Wistron sold their business to the Tata group in India.

India's Electronics and Technology Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said on Friday that this project will be completed within the next two and a half years.

And for the Tata Group to successfully implement this project, the Government of India and several organizations will help them. On this day, Chandrasekhar wrote in X Handle, 'The central government is there for Indian electronics companies to spread their influence in the international market. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aim is to make the country strong in the world in electronics. And this project is undoubtedly a big step towards that end'.

A Taiwanese company called Wistron Corp was in charge of manufacturing Apple's phones. However, they recently signed an agreement with the Tata Group. Wistron agreed to divest its Indian unit of iPhone manufacturing in exchange for $125 million. And on that occasion the Tata group practically got the ‘moon’. This time, 100 percent stake of all the iPhones that will be made in India is Tata.

It is heard that Taka started all the work after the agreement was finalized. Further expansion of iPhone manufacturing plant in Bengaluru. In addition, Tata Group will also open at least 100 Apple stores in India in the near future to attract the attention of users.
